Real Life Examples for my Strengths

Learner: Being a learner is vital in the context of working in premium services for the Pacers. As the industry evolves, staying up-to-date with the latest trends in luxury hospitality and sports entertainment is essential to provide top-notch experiences for high-end clientele. A commitment to continuous learning allows professionals in this role to adapt to changing customer expectations, incorporate innovative technologies, and refine their service strategies, ensuring the Pacers' premium services remain at the forefront of excellence.

Achiever: Achiever has played such a crucial role for me with many of the internships I have done but mostly at the NFL combine internship with Bommarito sports performance company we had goals and objectives set by him for social media and we focused and brough the intensity and effort as a team to crush the social media and ended up having one of our stories/posts amassing over 100 thousand likes and being reposted by many former athletes that have trained with the team.

Input: In being a part of the Indianapolis Indians organization each person no matter the department can contribute a massive suggestion or help provide their thoughts to make a game or event better. Many times, we have worked with other departments to solve problems as they arise to make the game or event go great for those attending and working.

Responsibility: As a busy college student juggling both academics and a part-time jobs/internships, I prioritize responsibility by carefully managing my time and commitments. I create a detailed weekly schedule that allocates dedicated blocks for classes, study sessions, and work shifts, ensuring I meet all my academic and professional responsibilities. Additionally, I communicate proactively with my professors and employer to address any potential conflicts and maintain a responsible balance between my education and work commitments.

Focus: Focus is also massively important to my internships while my time with Bommarito's Sports performance team for the NFL Combine we had a large social team. But each person had a specific social media app and had to develop content and ideas for that specific app. Mine was twitter so I had to constantly maintain the same message as the person writing the Instagram or other social media apps message and content which took focus and dedication included with collaboration and working as a cohesive team.

TESM Career Fair Experience

Attending the annual TESM Career Fair this week was a wonderful experience that provided valuable insights into the sports and events industry. The best part was the opportunity to interact with industry professionals and gain firsthand knowledge about all the possible Internships and what makes each organization different in Indianapolis and the surrounding area. I thoroughly enjoyed networking to engage with experts in the field who shared their experiences and offered valuable advice. This a wonderful event that IUPUI TESM puts on and hosts every year and am so grateful our department hosts such a beneficial event for its students!

Big Ten Volunteer Experience

I was privileged to volunteer at the Student Athlete Family Celebration for the Student Athlete’s Families who were participating in the Big Ten Football Championship this past weekend! This was a fantastic way for the families to spend time with provided food and activities before the game! I enjoyed engaging with and greeting the families as they entered the venue! This was a very cool event to be apart of with the guidance of Revel XP and their wonderful staff! This event was a wonderful way to display all the hard work and support that these players families provide for their student athletes throughout the year! So glad I got to be apart of the BIG 10 Festivities for my 3rd year in a row!
